"We found the house to be comfortable and a well appointed 'home from home',easy for cooking,eating, relaxing and sleeping.Pleasantly quiet yet within easy reach of amenities.We enjoyed the old town of Parthenay and the old Port of la Rochelle.The forest of Mervent yielded pleasing exercise through shady paths as did the forest of Secondigny.Vouvant is especially attractive with an annotated trip around the town.The Pool is lovely for gentle exercise and cooling off."Chris and Stephanie 2011
